Storage is usually the deciding reason to move up to the XMAX 250. The fleet specification lists 44.9 litres beneath the seat—far more than our smaller scooters—while the transmission remains fully automatic.

That makes it useful for longer rental periods, regular passenger trips and customers who want more room without switching to a manual motorcycle.

More scooter in every sense

The 250 cc XMAX is physically a larger proposition than an NMAX or Filano. In return, it gives you a roomier maxi-scooter platform, ABS and substantial built-in carrying space. A top box is available too, although side boxes are not part of this rental setup.

It is a good fit when you expect to spend plenty of time on paved roads and prefer automatic controls. It may be unnecessary for short solo runs, and a smaller scooter will be easier for a rider who values compact dimensions above storage.

Smaller alternatives

The NMAX Neo or Turbo keeps a modern maxi-scooter feel in a 155 cc format. The ADV 160 takes a taller approach, while the standard NMAX 155 is the value-minded all-rounder.
