This notice covers the 77 Rental Reviews integration operated by 77 Rental on 77rental.id. It describes this integration only; it does not replace the website’s rental terms or a website-wide cookies notice.
Purpose and access
An authorised website administrator connects the Google account that manages the 77 Rental Business Profile. The integration reads existing reviews for that profile and displays them on our website. Google requires the Business Profile management permission for this API; our implementation uses it only to read data and does not edit listings, create reviews or post replies.
Data used and displayed
We use account and location identifiers, the profile name and Maps information to identify the 77 Rental listing. We retrieve review text, reviewer display names and available public profile photos, star ratings, review dates, and the overall rating and review count supplied by Google. The API response may also include review identifiers, updates and public owner replies.
Selected recent reviews are displayed with their original text, author information, rating and date, together with a link to Google. The Google review summary is used as supplied, not recalculated. Reviews are not filtered by rating.
Storage and security
A limited server-side cache of the latest API response is refreshed periodically, normally about every 12 hours. Each cache entry expires after seven days unless replaced by a fresh response. API unavailability or delayed scheduled tasks can delay updates.
OAuth credentials and access tokens are stored encrypted on the website server, not in public JavaScript or public pages. They remain stored while the administrator keeps the connection enabled. Access to configuration requires the website administrator account.
Use and sharing
Public review fields are shared with visitors by displaying them on 77rental.id. Google receives the API requests and may receive visitors’ requests for reviewer images or Google Maps links. Our hosting infrastructure processes the data to operate the website. The integration does not sell Google-derived data, use it for advertising targeting, or use it to train AI models.
This integration follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google’s own services are covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting and correcting data
The administrator can disconnect Google in the website’s Google Reviews settings. This removes the stored credentials and cached reviews and stops scheduled synchronisation. Google access can also be revoked through Google Account permissions. Revocation alone may leave the existing cache visible until it expires; disconnecting in website settings clears it immediately.
Reviews are authored and maintained on Google. Authors can change or remove their reviews through Google; subsequent successful synchronisation reflects changes to the retrieved reviews. For questions about display on this website, contact 77 Rental.
